The Order of the Light discovered Solis' egg in the forest outside the city one day, completely untouched but alone. Suspecting it abandoned, they brought his egg back to Porvynis to tend to it. There he would be raised as an acolyte to the Lightweaver, studying ancient Light texts and the ways of the Light.

The Wildclaw was born without sight, but that never hindered his dedication to his studies. He listened diligently to every priest, every preacher, every tenant and belief of the Order until he had practically memorized them all. He was devout from very young, and the priests saw him as a promising young prodigy.

As he aged he continued to rise through the ranks until he was anointed as High Priest, taking leadership over the Order and becoming an ambassador of the Light to the city. Upon receiving the Lightweaver's blessing he discovered he could see Light magic wherever it was cast, granting him some semblance of sight to aid him in his leadership.

With troubling times on the horizon, the Order has become more frantic and withdrawn. Solis feels this too and grows more extreme and strict in his religious views. The tensions between the Order and the city only seem to grow, and some change must be made if the two are to make it through the coming years in tact.

Illune was bestowed to Solis after his coronation as High Priest. As one of the sworn protectors and tenders to the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, she is as dedicated and devout to the Light as Solis is. She will often nestle herself between his wings and help guide him wherever he goes.
