Vaeleran
Tinomen; means "Graceful Skies"

The Deity of Winds, Vaeleran traverses through the skies of Ryne and enjoys his time offering gentle breezes. It is said that when hurricanes, tornadoes, or extremely harsh storms rain down upon those that inhabit the continents, it is Vaeleran and the Galewings having extreme disputes with the Deity of Lightning, Azarin, and the Deity of Water, Sal'Suin. Over many years, it has been accepted among those that write the historical texts of Ryne that Vaeleran was the sworn enemy of Deity mates, Azarin and Sal'Suin.

In reality, this is a falsehood; Vaeleran is actually the brother to Azarin, and whenever they decide to abuse their powers with one another, it is usually Sal'Suin who makes the extreme attempt to get them to knock it off. However, because of their close ties with one another, the three of them do realise that they have an obligation to keeping the world of Ryne in balance, and generally have worse fights with Deities such as Elferno, Gelraitou, and Menthera.

Since the Fall of Deities, Vaeleran's body remains crystallised within the confines of the great plateaus of Opyria. Out of all the deities, the Wind God's is the most fragile structure, and requires the most amount of protection from those that would dare to harm it. Due to this, there are many precautions taken to Vaeleran's shrine that it is even dangerous for the Acolytes of Gale Valley to patrol the area.

The most ideal guardian for the Spiritual Shrine are the Galewings, especially as they are most linked with Vaeleran since the beginning of Ryne, and the start of any texts that were written of him. The Galewings are medium sized birds that appear to have an elegant appearance, much like male peacocks and swans. Their feathers are desired because of their silky appearance, and their fashionable appearance. Overall, it is rumoured that the Galewings are capable of producing extreme weather conditions if enough of them gather to any one location.
