Biography
Drawn to life
A great painter who often paints landscapes, animals and the occasional dragon. Having fallen in love with the craft as a hatchling, he still paints even in his current old age. Although he doesn't travel as much as he used to, he still likes to move about. He still sells his work in the occasional exhibition. His name is enough to draw all kinds of collectors. His work is known for its liveliness and flurry of flowing paint strokes. His work isn't photo-realistic by any but something about his work seems like it could come to life.
He has a permanent exhibition in the Frozen Museum within the clan dedicated to preserving his work. Blizzard and Tealdrop are trying to convince him to record his methods down before he passes away but he remains resistant to the idea.
He uses a unique technique where he combines magic with his paint to create living paint. He tends to keep a pot of it around at any moment in case he is struck by inspiration. The paint is usually a pearly white but it can change into any color or texture he desires. The secrets to the paint are a trade secret. The only downside is that the paint tends to escape its pot and leave splotchy messes all over his studio.
His favorite thing to paint are spiral dragons, he enjoys the challenge of painting them in a way that makes any sense. One reason he developed his special paint was to better capture the life of living beings. It's also easier to capture details and movements when you only need to think of the color you want in the paint instead of mixing and preparing many colors.
He used his paint to adorn himself with runes, markings and the branches covering his wings. It took him an entire month to compete the painting on himself.
"To capture a spiral on canvas is the greatest challenge for any painter. A good exercise for depicting movement."
