A strange, quiet dragon, no one is quite sure how Ruins came to be at the clan lair, or even if that truly is his name. It was engraved on the copper collar he wears- but as Ruins does not seem capable of normal speech, it is rather impossible to know. Despite his lack of a common language, he is friendly and capable of rudimentary communication via huffs and grunts and hisses. He seems to enjoy the company of other dragons when they are around but does not seek out companionship if it does not happen upon him. For the most part he seems to prefer simply roaming the halls of the Upper Spires, basking in the sun or spending time with the more bestial of the clan’s familiars- the fluffier the better.

A chance encounter with the Upper Spires residence illusionist Keba led to the two mating. It's impossible to tell exactly what Ruins sees in the deranged, plague imperial, but he willingly- eagerly, even- submits to Keba's advances whenever they happen upon each other, and in return Keba seems to have adopted a protective stance towards the coatl. Dominating, yes, but the asocial imperial does not weave his dangerous illusions around the coatl, and Ruins is always eager for a cuddle or mating depending on Keba's whims. Ruins does not seem particular to which happens in any given encounter, merely accepting Keba’s company however it’s given.
