Tempest

Tempest is a guy who always has his head in the clouds, figuratively and literally. He's known to be a daydreamer, and often fantasizes about many things. He hopes to make an important discovery in meteorology, like learning more about the phenomenon known as "fire whirls", more well known as fire tornadoes.

His mother, who he didn't know the name of, left before he hatched, and he was raised solely by his father. Even as a hatchling, Tempest was more fascinated by the storms themselves than the machinery they powered. Soon, he learned that other regions had totally different weather patterns and climates than his homeland of the Shifting Expanse. The Skydancer eventually carried his studies to a certain Plague clan, where he proved useful in predicting the weather. Though considering how chaotic weather can be he's not always correct.
