Hesperos
Melee Division Metalsmith, Scrapmetal Smith Impressively alike his twin sister in his appearance, he has the look of a brawny, war-torn soldier. From his arms and shoulders to his legs, he is well muscled and tough. His face is often blackened with the soot of working long hours over the forge. He also wears armor of his own making, but his armor is created from scrap metal, giving him a roguish look to him. He wears incredible gauntlets that allow him to hold and harness molten lava in his hands. These also deal close-ranged damage to opponents by slashing at them with the hardened iron claws. He often kindles live coals in his hands, blowing on them softly to light the flames. He acts as the full-time metalsmith of the melee division - His sister, as commander, is too busy training knights to deal with all of the metalwork of the order, so he steps in. His works of metal ar differ greatly from hers, in that his works are made entirely of scrap metal, earning him the title, Scrapmetal Smith. He melts down old armor, weapons, even tools that are past their prime, and refurbishes them into the new. He believes that metal has it's own spirit to it, and to reuse it gives it more history. Always seen at and around the forge, he detests leaving it, and would rather his apprentices fetch him whatever he so needs. Unlike his sibling and many of his fire brethren, he is much more evenly tempered. A man of few words at best, considered outright shy by the rest of his division, he has few friends with those who visit his forge regularly, offering them only a word or two of advice before sending them along their way. He lacks the confidence that his sister yields and instead harbors incredible humility. He doesn't connect well with other people, a natural introvert and a loner. He hates any sort of violence, but if he must, he would fight to protect his forge and his few friends. He admits to being attracted to fire in the way that a man is attracted to a woman, and refuses to believe that it's strange. lore written by: x |
