Biography

Animal I have Become
The strong clan of Gencentric had its fair share of having dangerous dragons amongst it’s ranks, but Monstrosity is on another level of risky members. She was born to a beauty, and a beast. Her father was known for being a dragon who thought only like a wild animal, and thus her mother worried the same fate would befall her children as well. Thus young Cassie, her birth name, was sent off to an allied clan to live. At first she showed she was hopeless, but soon she was like any other dragon. Cassie grew into a strong young dragon, assisting her clan in a way that wouldn’t ever let her join fighting, since it was a risk to allow her to, healing. The clan had many things, but it did not have an official healer. Cassie took to the role easily, her adoptive father always checking in and making sure she was happy. She honestly was, but one day she was told to do something that would ruin everything she and her father had tried to do, to join the clan’s army of sorts. It didn’t seem like much, just help defend the clan since healing wasn’t as needed since they moved to water. Her adoptive father worried, so he joined her to make sure everything was fine. They trained day in and day out with the clan’s strongest and scariest dragon. Soon, she was as strong as he was, not really, but rather tough. It was the day they would fight for real, no more fake fights to toughen themselves, a full on expatiation. Cassie hadn’t slept, her mind of the fun they’d have. That was until she heard a little voice mention killing. She quickly pushed it way, thinking it was nothing but a little worry. She was very, very wrong. They went out early, the tundra having gotten no sleep. Her fur was a mess and she stayed near her adoptive father. He was worried, but before he could voice this it was time to fight.

Cassie did amazingly well, dodging every attack and striking well, but she never struck blood for fear muddled her attacks. In anger, the dragon who trained her ordered her to cut down a foe, and she couldn’t say no. Thus she drew blood for the first time, and her pupils shrunk. Before anyone could know what happened Cassie mowed down all of the foes in their path, her body shaking. Her fur was covered but all she did was sink to the ground and wait for more to come. The only one concerned was her adoptive father, everyone else finding this perfect. They continued until it was dark, everyone readying to leave with the loot. All but Cassie, who continued to throw herself at the enemy, leaving them bloody and dead. It was then that everyone realized why her adoptive father was so worried, something had gone wrong. They did their best to knock her out, but it left her wounded a bit. She was returned to Gencentric in hopes her mother could save her, their healer would undo the damage, something. For a short time it seemed to work, Cassie was back to normal. The only problem was that she had to stay in Gencentric since they couldn’t risk her losing it again. Cassie just sulked around her cave, not leaving even for food. then she got hungry, and hunted for plants eat. She one day was found eating corpse left in the sun, and taken back by her mother. Jenna did all she could to try to save her daughter, but the tundra had a taste for blood. Cassie tried hard to fight it, but one night she woke up and attacked her mother, it was the night after her father had left. Before the guards came Jenna was dead, Cassie looming over her body. She was locked up, and the rest is history.

Cassie was than given the name Monstrosity by the newest jailer, and was treated like a prized pet. The reasons she’s worse than her dad is simple, she has no calm mode, always the hunt and ready to kill. She also doesn’t attack just for food as he did, she does it just for fun sometimes. She also isn’t allowed out since as said she has no way to be calmed, and could wide out the clan. The only reason she can’t break out is that the jailer’s magic keeps her asleep and unable to use her full strength. She really has become her name. Sadly there seems no cure to her madness, nor a way to stop her if she ever got out besides putting her down.
