Zev was born in the Shifitng Expanse, but didn’t stay there for long. His father had two siblings, and he felt they were better equipped to handaling this child of lightning. So, his alchemist uncle Daybreak took him in, as his children all left to serve Flamecaller. His other uncle, Nightfall, was dealing with a child of his own: Jake. The two were practically raised as siblings. However, the hot climate and warm lava baths just wasn’t enough to drive that jolt of lightning in Zev’s Veins. When he heard Coral was looking for a representative during the Thundercrack Festival, Zev didn’t wait a minute (okay maybe one, he was eating a Giant lightning Cotten candy) before signing up. Coral gave him the gear, and pretty soon Zev was learning and informing others about his home flight. Zev always makes sure to never let his enthusiasm prevent him from hanging out with his cousin though!

Zev loves sweets. He always has some kind of candy in his hand or his mouth, no matter what he's doing. Butterscotch? Cotton Candy? Lollipops? Chocolate? He's got every conceivable treat hidden somewhere. Many dragons have tried to get rid of his stash ("It'll rot your teeth out!") but, no one has yet found the surely mountainous pile.
Zev has no idea why every dragon’s hair/fur stands on end when he flies past, he tries his best not to laugh at tundras whom turn into small clouds of fur.
The smell of ozone, rain pouring against a sheet of metal, the feeling of heat rising from hot concrete during a rainstorm, wet gravel under your boots. A summer lightning storm, warm and crackling.
