B I O G R A P H Y

Anya is a female Ridgeback dragon whose lore I had all typed out but was accidentally deleted while typing out additional lore. Here is a shorter version of it. Last updated: 9/20/17. Anya was flying out, exploring the edge of her Clan with Miri late one night as they always did. This was since Anya was a Light dragon and Miri was a Wind dragon - both Ridgebacks who wanted to explore beyond the edge of their clan, their hearts luring them out.

One day Anya and Miri were flying when they got lost. The two dragons were arguing about which stars to follow as they only had the basics of astronomy down and had not memorized all of them, when Miri screamed. A Beastclan soldier had caught hold of her, and another grabbed hold of Anya . Anya fought off the soldier, but then narrowly dodged another's fire that would have burned her wing, flying away, glancing back quickly to see what had happened to Miri. All Anya saw were Beastclan soldiers surrounding Miri, but it was unclear what they were doing. Miri's screams eventually died down and went away. This was because of two possibilities - that Anya had flown far enough away - which was possible - or that Miri had been knocked out permanently.

Anya flew, her anger uplifting herself through the currents, going North. It was almost dark when Anya spotted a dragon coming toward her. She slowed her pace down, and the dragon stopped by her. Something tugged on her heart... this dragon was a male Ridgeback... what were they to do? "I've been sent from an auction." The male ridgeback explained. "To Randomsevens3's Clan. Same with you?" "Same." She said. "Except more... brutal." There was a look of sadness on the male Ridgeback. "You know, it's funny that we are both Ridgebacks." The male Ridgeback continued - she nodded. "And that we are opposite genders, similar colors... know what that means?"

Anya's heart didn't want to believe it, but the possibility that they were mates stood out in front of her. This often happened. "So that's why I've always felt like leaving my Clan." She said. The male Ridgeback agreed. Shortly, they came upon what looked to be Randomsevens3's Clan. They exchanged heart-warming looks along the way, already getting attached to each other, and finding that they had similar interests as well.

The sky was a pale blue with hardly any clouds of it when the pair of Ridgebacks reached Randomsevens3's Clan when the sun was halfway in the sky. They were welcomed, given lodging and Minor dragons to look after them. When they were named (hers was Anya, as it had always been in her mind), and the male Ridgeback was Aishling, they were given roles. Anya would be the Ridgeback Ambassador and Healing Specialist, meanwhile Aishling would have a mandatory week of guard duty where communication with dragons who were not in the military service was forbidden.

All Anya did was think ahead to that day when Aishling would get out of guard duty. His occupation had been Head Inventor. As Anya was reading a scroll in her lair after work, she thought back to Miri and her old Clan. At least she had found her mate, and her heart was now in a better shape than it ever was.
