From an early age SugarSnap always knew she loved to win. Games, prizes, battles - it didn't matter. She developed that skill as she got older into a fine-tuned ability to battle, and found herself become the primary trainer in her new home. Not long after arriving, she fell in love with a Pearlcatcher hatchling by the name of Alto, who she raised as her own. In between parenting and fighting, she met a strong, fearless Guardian named Zaughn, and they had many nests together under the Gladekeeper's watchful eye. Eventually, Alto grew up, and SugarSnap and Zaughn found themselves longing for new battles and the adventure of their youth. After travelling the world, they found themselves drawn to their home clan's sister clan - an unusually welcoming clan situated in the middle of the Scarred Wasteland. |

On a particularly long hike through mountains and streams, SugarSnap felt a sharp nip at her ankle. Shocked, she looked down, just to see a brown-green form quickly swim away. She continued on, figuring it must have just been a spooked creature that she almost stood on defending itself. But it happened again, and again, and again. Finally, the last time it happened, SugarSnap was able to reach down and grab the creature doing the nipping - a Gladeveins Needletooth. It recoiled instantly, until she pulled out a big juicy grub. It ate it delightedly, and they've been inseparable ever since. |
