Moments like this - cool air over bare skin, the room dark but for the blue light of the phone, heat across the back of my hips from a slowly breathing cat. Paws twitch, chasing dreams. You envy dreams.

The soft bubbling of the terrarium pool. Small scrapes as little crabs try to climb, their struggles unseen in the night. Who sees struggles in the night?

Music slowly cresting, matching the rise and fall, the swell of each heavy, sleepy blink. Endless cycles.
