Son of the Frightening Family

0B7CaVZ.png Screech was one of the most treasured members of the Frightening Family. While everyone was treated equally, there are always some that are given the slightest more attention. For one, the dragon was extroverted in nature, unlike many others who kept to themselves due to how they were raised - in a desolate land void of entertainment and other dragons to speak to. To add to his immediate advantage over his siblings, he was also keen in the art of magic, much like his sister Freeze. They had long since been friends, not just family, but this was only due to their strong connection at birth. Both dragons heard the whistles of the wind and could return the favour.

Unlike Freeze, however, Screech was interested in finding a way out of the forest. He loved his home and his family, and he loved his parents and their tradition, but he also wanted to experience life beyond the bare branches of the trees. Freeze often told him stories of another land beyond their own, but Screech didn't have the ability to see as far, he decided to keep away from the dark magic Freeze was using to have an advantage over her brother.

Screech tried his best constantly to do the right thing, keep his head high, and act as the leader of a group if needed. His worst fear was that he would fall into the same category, to the family, as Freeze did. She betrayed the family and left them for a dark magic, one associated most readily with the evil being which lived in the cave beyond the East Snow Mountain.
