B I O G R A P H Y

Bloodmoon had started her life out as a guardian dragon in the plague lands. She lived happily in her small nest with her first mate Nassau an optimistic young male fae dragon. But that life was not the one she was meant to lead. For soon after their first clutch Nassau became extremely ill. Between tending to him and watching the children Bloodmoon was always exhausted, but happy nonetheless. However, soon the children caught his illness, and they did not survive. Nassau, unfortunately, followed them soon after leaving Bloodmoon alone in an empty lair. Devastated she did not know what to do. She spent days in the lair sleeping in the nest they had shared and eating her slowly dwindling food supply. Then the earthquake hit Sornieth. The earthquake destroyed her small lair on the outskirts of the plague lands and she was forced to flee.

She spent weeks wandering through water territory until she reached the warmth of the Ashfall waste. Upon entering the waste she found a young male bogsneak named Damianus that had lost his parents in the quakes and had trudged into fire territory from lightning territory. They decided to stick together as two lost dragons in an unfamiliar territory. The first night they slept in a small hovel and Bloodmoon had a dream. In her dream a large fiery dragon hugged her and guided her to a wonderful cavern with endless space and plenty of fresh water. Bloodmoon woke up crying, but knowing exactly where she needed to go. The next day she lead Damianus through the twisting lava pools and found what would become their new lair and home. The two dragons worked diligently to get the lair setup, and soon there was enough space for twenty dragons to sleep with wings spread open! That evening they saw a figure wobbling in the sky start to fall toward a lava pool. Without hesitation Bloodmoon shot out to aid the distressed dragon and brought his unconscious form into the lair. There they bandaged his wounds and put him in a nest filled with soft fir branches. This dragon was the male pearlcatcher Falconsbane. They welcomed him into the lair and he soon started to help with her goal of a sanctuary for all dragon kind.
