Felix

Felix joined the Hazel Clan as Kasper's apprentice. He was the worst apprentice Kasper ever had, and never did anything Kasper told him to. Turns out that Coatls cannot hear at the frequency Fae talk. Kasper eventually figured out his mistake, switched to giving Felix written instructions, but it didn't improve his behavior as much as could be hoped... Felix hating working and was bored senseless by Kasper's research. He spent most of his apprenticeship hanging around the Trading Post throwing random things into Baldwyn's cauldron to see what would happen.

After finally quitting his apprenticeship, he briefly teamed up with Mimi to found the alchemy guild, but was soon forced to retire from it as he became sicker from a previously dormant infection he picked up while living in the Abiding Boneyard as a hatchling. Instead he focused on raising his and Mimi's hatchlings, while his mate was busy working long days and warring with Cecily's upstart henchman, Dylan, about alchemy ethics.

The infection did leave Felix with absurdly powerful plague magic, and despite his sickliness he remains one of Hazel Clan's most powerful fighters. Though using his powers always makes a huge mess and leaves him and everything else smelling terrible (Matilda says he smells lovely...) Kasper is worried about Felix's illness, and is working on trying to find a cure for him, along with his daughter/successor, Scarlett, and Felix's replacement, Basil, but so far without any luck.
