B I O G R A P H Y

Captured and infected by Tex, Zeraya was a simple traveller until a tracking mission held by the Desovar went horribly wrong. Zeraya was passing through the territory with no intention of hunting in this foreign territory. She was walking along the border of the Desovar territory, looking for any travelling merchant as they would often appear on the border of the Rotrock Rim to haggle travelling clans. Zeraya was passing through when the sound of growling caught her attention.

"I mean no harm towards your clan and I apologise if this is your terri..." Upon turning around to face the location of the noise, Zeraya froze in fear. A monstrous creature with peeling, rotting flesh and veined pale green skin was staring at her, it's jaws dripping with saliva that resembled a tar-like substance. It's battle helmet hiding its face however its dead eyes clearly showed the frightening look of starvation. Zeray didn't think twice and began running.

She was faster then the creature and soon began lengthening the distance between it and herself. She dared not look back, knowing the cliche that would happen to those who looked back and then found themselves tripping from an unseen obstacle. She spread her wings and took to the skies, however, if she had looked back, she would have seen that the creature had left the ground and had also taken to the skies, catching up with her instantly and dive bombing her as soon as she had parted a few meters from the ground. The creature pinned her and looked over her as though deciding what to do. Zeray acted quickly and kicked the beastly Wildclaw in the face, only to have it react with a swift, yet strong bite to her neck. Letting out an ear-piercing screech, Zeraya felt the immediate effects of the bite and fell unconscious from fright and the infectious material that filled the Wildclaws mouth. She woke up days later, chained to a wall, multiple eyes watching her...

_ETERNAL ITCH_

____A few days after being caught by the Desovar, Zeraya had managed to escape the clan and run towards the Starfall Isles. She had managed to cross the border into the Crystalspine Reaches when she tripped over a root. The root was colourful and positioned on the exact borderline of the Wandering contagion and the Crystalspine Reaches. The plant then suddenly sprang to life and began to wrap itself around the screeching Zombie. After a few minutes, the plant grew thorns which dug into Zeraya's legs. This jolt of pain gave the Wildclaw a boost of adrenaline which she used to escape the plants grasp, tearing it off with her jaws and returning to the Plague Lands.

____Upon returning to the Abiding Boneyard, she was caught by the Desovars other resident Zombie, Tex, who was being held on a chain by one of the coliseum dragons. Midnight, a large midnight coloured Risgback adorned in basic armour and bird skulls. "You'll be coming back with us." The Ridgeback was quick to chain the zombies mouth before she had a chance to bite him. He then walked her back to the clan lair alongside Tex, both grumbling to themsleves, pulling on the chains whenever they saw an oppotunity to attack another lifeform..

_ETERNAL ITCH CONTIN_

____Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, Zeraya had been captured and promptly returned to her chains alongside where Tex was also chained however after a few days, Zeraya began to itch....and itch...and itch. She wouldn't stop and as she itched and tore off her skin, a colourful type of Ivy appeared to replace her skin, as though it was replacing the skin she had torn off. Dominus, the clans' main medical examiner was quick to act seeing that Zeraya was acting particularly odd. He was unable to diagnose what she had, saying that this was a brand new kind of Ivy all together..

____With the medical knowledge he had, he was able to stop the rapid infection, however, a large part of Zeraya's body had been replaced with this scale like Ivy including her wings, feet, claws and parts of her face. While she still often itches her festering wounds, the Ivy only claims wounds that are continually scratched open. Fresh wounds are simply healed by her brood infections natural symptom of restoring lost flesh over time. Dominus continues to study her interesting symptoms from a distance as not to get bitten and infected. Zeraya will often find things to take her mind off the constant itch the Ivy causes, the easiest way to distract her is with something that has a beating heart and is easy to kill and consume.
