Biography
|
Sunny Baudelaire Youngest of the Baudelaire orphans. Her bite is worse than her bark. Siblings: Violet Klaus |
If you're looking for a happy, cleverly written fictional story of three plucky siblings outsmarting the foes that seek to do them harm, you would do best looking elsewhere. This story is a grim, unfortunate tale of the most upsetting type - it's entirely true.
A long time ago, before a certain user had to flee their flight and change their username, the user had an abundance of dragons. A large lair, full of dragons who needed genes, and lore, and so much more before they could consider themselves "finished". Despite this, they still felt the need for more dragons, and, in this case, "more dragons" means "two imperials with unique color schemes." Unfortunately, in order to get those dragons, they'd be required to do a breeding project.
Now, this user had never done a breeding project before. They didn't anticipate the struggles, the reluctant users, the bargaining, the waiting that always came with these sorts of projects. However, after months of work (which is another unfortunate story that we'll not tell right now), they finally got 2 imperials with the right colors. All that was left before they could breed them was to give them the genes they needed. And so they were tossed on the pile of unnamed, unfinished dragons that weren't yet fit to breed.
That pile of dragons grew larger, and more neglected, until one day they decided to do something about those dragons. "Do something", in this situation, apparently meant "give all of them names based on the random name generator."
When it came time to give names to the two project dragons, the user loaded up and rejected a number of names. They didn't like giving dragons too "human" of names. However, the user had recently learned of the names of the deceased parents of the protagonists in an even more unfortunate story than this one, and when the generator gave the male of the pair the exact same name as their father, it was fate. The pair were named Bertrand and Beatrice Baudelaire.
Unfortunately, of course, a name was not a total gene makeover, and the pile of projects only grew and grew until the user got sick of it. They decided to get rid of all their dragons. They'd only hold onto just a few, sell off the rest of their dragons, and leave their account with a lot of money piled up should they one day decide to return to the site.
But first, they very much wanted to see the Baudelaire parents have a clutch at least once before getting rid of them. They told themselves they wouldn't keep the children, save for one incredibly improbable outcome.
The Baudelaire parents had 3 eggs, which wasn't too surprising in and of itself. The user tried not to make any assumptions about the genders of the dragons that would be hatched; they didn't want to be let down. But when they hatched...
The youngest was another girl, the baby of the trio. She might not talk much, but she had a fair number of sharp teeth, and seemed to have an interest in cooking.
She kept the Baudelaire children, and when the parents left the clan they later were exalted, leaving the children orphaned. And now? Well. It's only a bad beginning.
