 Personaly: Thais is a very keen dragon, intelligent almost to a fault and not ashamed to flaunt it. Blunt and forthright about her opinions, she can occasionally offend people, but she would much rather be honest than fake. However, if you can get past her haughty exterior, she has a great deal of compassion and selflessness to offer to those she cares about. There are no lengths she will not go to for those who have earned her love.

History: Thais is one of the many descendants of the blood mage Meltaim, and the heir to leadership of one of the clans that had been poisoned by Meltaim's zealotry. She was very, very well trained in the blood magic that Meltaim and her brood practiced, and had been raised to feel nothing for those who's pain she used to fuel her dark magic.

However, this all changed when her clan captured a young bogsneak named Angelo. Thais was tasked with trying to seduce Angelo, making him fall in love with her so that he would be more susceptible to brainwashing and corruption by their clan. Thais was not enthused about this idea, feeling like it was foolish to assume Angelo was not intelligent enough to see right through such an effort. Still, she humored the plan, spending a great deal of time with their prisoner in an effort to get to know him. Against the wishes of the clan, however, Thais did not seduce him, but instead merely talked to him, played games with him, and was forthright about her clan's plans for him. Angelo was at first suspicious of her, but the lonely bogsneak had no one else anything close to sympathetic to talk to, and gradually found himself opening up to her despite himself.

To Thais' surprise, she found herself growing to feel a great deal of sympathy for her clan's prisoner as she got to know him better. She began to petition for small comforts to make his imprisonment more tolerable for him, and when he spoke of his homeland and his god, Thais found herself enraptured. Her loyalties were torn, and it hurt her to watch the bogsneak's sanity slowly erode as despair of ever escaping overcame him during hos long months of captivity.

Things came to a head when, after months of Angelo refusing to buckle, the dragons of Thais' clan decided he was not worth the waste of resources they were pouring into him. They decided he would get the same fate as all nonbelievers- he would be made a sacrifice in their magic. Thais, horrified, argued vehemently against this plan, and when the clan refused to listen to her, she realized that she could not abide their ways any longer. Helping Angelo to escape, the two of them fled together, resolving to work together to stop the zealots of Meltaim wherever they took root.
