No one knows what happens when dragons get exalted. What they do, where they are. But few return to tell the tale. Pestis is one of those few. Returning from the Plaguebringer, Pestis runs the clan, acting as a priest for the Plaguebringer and prophet. He is one of few words, preferring to stay reserved and to not get involved.

Pestis leads the clan Abiding Strainwound with actions rather than words. When newly exulted come to the clan, they are surprised to see a mute, patient, kind tundra leading a violent and rowdy group of plague exulted. But, once they meet Pestis and see, they understand, for being a link and a devoted servant is enlightening and humbling for all.
