Biography

Moonseed's avatar
Moonseed
Botanist

Moonseed was born a Nature dragon at heart while being a Plague dragon by (unknown) heritage. The two sides of him are constantly warring inside him; though his hide may become rough with a texture like bark, boils will form in the creases and at the edges of his many spines. Though his wings are smooth and rustle like leaves, they excrete an itchy poison. Moonseed bears many scars from scratching at his scales with his foreclaws, a result of curling his own wings around himself and feeling the consequence.

Moonseed has the tendency to filch flowers, birds, and even whole trees from the territory of other clans and lining her caves with their lush greenery and hushed songs. Most plants and creatures in her care do not last long, soon succumbing to any of her gentle attempts at gardening with a poisonous touch.

Despite her unusual and discouraging circumstances, Moonseed is infinitely positive and rare to be moody, even while molting and regrowing spines, even when her garden fails, and even when her birds take on her sickly appearance. The clan is quick to come to him for advice on fauna identification, for he has an excellent sense for the plants that are dangerous to consume. He has an intricate knowledge of herbal medicines, though he has to guide other dragons to create the medicines themselves, lest he destroy the ingredients. He is often found in the company of Ailment, for she is the one least bothered by him (as well as them both being elders in the clan).

Moonseed uses he/him or she/her pronouns (interchangeably)
