From Japanese 千 (chi) meaning "thousand" and 夏 (natsu) meaning "summer"

The last one of her kind.
She was born after the ten thousand summers, those times of drought in the The Windswept Plateau borderland, caused by a roar of the Flamecaller.

Eveything in the borderline was in fire, intensified by the strong air currents that came from the east. That's when the first of her kind arose: Wind dragons that were born within the fire.

These newborn dragons had light green eyes, but their skin was thicker and their blood was warmer... They could breathe fire.

But years and years passed, and the fire started to extinguish. Until one day, after ten thousand days of heat, it was gone. Chinatsu was born just a day later. She was the last one.

Her mother Ninigi raised her in the borderline, that soon became a big but poor city. She lived her first years peacefully. Until one day, after getting mad, she opened her mouth and fire came out. The rumor that the last wind fire-born dragon was there spread through the wind... like fire.
