Lore Tidbit
Solstice Dawnbringers are harbingers of luck and good fortune for the new year. Created soon after the fall of the Hewn City, they experienced a terrible tragedy when the first Solstice Dawnbringers fell shortly before Brightshine Jubilee. Arisen a year later, they were the ones who created the yearly calendar all of Dragonkind use to this day. Time is a very important concept to them, and they are responsible for sculpting the Sundial Terrace. Throughout the year, they have the ability to grant small wishes, but every year when they gather for the Sornieth New Year and Brightshine Jubilee, they grant one wish, any wish, to a single Dragon.
Habits/Personality
Solstice Dawnbringers tend to appear unfriendly, but don’t judge them too quickly. Naturally socially awkward, they are actually fairly friendly and open to meeting and making new friends. Their Clanmates should approach them first, though, as they are not the best at starting conversations. They are also extremely secretive, so don’t be surprised if they refuse to talk about a certain subject. One thing they love to talk about is their professions, as they are both highly intelligent and creative; that is usually a good topic to start with.
Solstice Dawnbringers are also very ritually inclined, taking their ceremonies and traditions very seriously. They have many rituals and ceremonies, particularly ones for marriage, but the most important is their annual Ceremony of Dawning Light. They also make small charms and pendants to carry with them for many things, such as good luck. Each family of Solstice Dawnbringers passes down their own unique charm design from parent to hatchling.

Diet/Hunting
Both Imperials and Pearlcatchers of the Solstice Dawnbringers prefer Plant foods, particularly fruits, over any others type. They avoid Hunting, Fishing, and Insect Catching altogether due to their pacifistic nature, and they love Digging and Foraging.
Combat
In general, Solstice Dawnbringers are not very combative and tend to be pacifistic, preferring taking a more supportive role, such as healing, rather than fighting. Even so, they hold the firm belief that all fights can be settled with words rather than fists, and generally try to stay out of combat at all costs.
