Ares has traveled far. From the Beacon of the Radiant Eye where he was born, through the Shifting Expanse, across the Shattered Plain, until he came to the Zephyr steps. He joined a fledgling clan he found there, helping to teach their warriors in the skills and strategies he had learned in his travels. He stayed with them on, and then above, the Windswept Plateau. Ares spends much of his time instructing the young in the arts of war, or in some cases at least just some self defense, and racing his mate in the Twisting Crescendo. Perhaps one day he will outfly his windborn love.
