Biography

People tend to make the mistake of assuming that Tav is less intelligent or academically inclined than his energetic mate. Nothing could be further from the truth; Atavus has a deep passion for magic and learning, as most of the Arcane flight. He's simply less vocal about his love.

While Clementia is off exploring or teaching, Atavus is often left to care for the youngsters of the clan alone. Perhaps this is where he got his tendency to worry almost constantly over the well-being of those he loves, especially his mate. Nothing terrifies him more than the thought of something dire happening to her. His fear is only amplified by her habit of thoughtlessly disregarding her own safety when presented with an exciting new discovery or the prospect of adventure.

Atavus studies magical history with an almost singleminded interest, and has quite a respectable collection of artifacts from the days when he and Clementia met as wandering archaeologists.
