The ember moon shone down on an egg in the warm autumn night, working a mysterious change. Lo! The egg hatched! And the first of the LeafFairies crawled forth, wet and shaking. A passing dragon happened upon her, and much struck by the beauty of the delicate little creature, kindly helped her make her way to the warm welcome of a nearby clan, who also owed much to the mysteries of the ember moon in their origins. Adopted by the clan founders, the nameless hatchling grew strong and healthy, taking the name LeafFairy in reflection of her appearance and gifts. Eventually she found a mate in an impetuous young imperial who had left his parent clan in search of adventure and somehow managed to make his way through the Shrieking Wilds to the heart of the Glademother's territory with only a few scratches to show for it. Though not born of the EmberMoon, he had similar coloring to LeafFairy and was also a mage. Quickly falling in love with the kind, older beauty, he eagerly agreed to join the clan and become her mate, and consented to take the name LeafThane, founding a new bloodline. LeafFairy III is the second daughter and third child of the pair, and has a thoughtful personality with a surprising mischievous streak. She was formerly searching for a clan that needs a LeafFairy of it's own, but stumbled upon the Clan of Chrysoberyl soon enough. Due to her bloodline, she was promised to be the fifth and final member of the Council of Five, and to enjoy a life of luxury. Or so she thought. After being initiated into the Clan, things took a left turn. There was already a fifth member, an older dragon named Casey. She wasn't as revered for her bloodline as she was told she would be, and the Queen didn't like pranks pulled on her. Even the most rule-following dragon would be toeing the line with that queen. But nevertheless, she found friends in Opal, Mickey, and Maarlissah, and would have fun pranking each other under the Queen's nose. Even under the watchful eyes of the Queen and duties as a breeder, life couldn't be better. However, with the stress of being assigned as a breeder and the love unfound between her and her mate, the light in LeafFairy's eyes has been draining and the spring in her wings is slowly going away.
