Ocean is a gentle soul at heart and grew up believing every dragon has a right to be who they are without shame. So when she behaved in feminine mannerisms, she couldn't understand why her parents and the other members of the lair were so insistent of her being male.
It grew too much for the young dragon, so with a final word of goodbye to her mother, Ocean left.
She wandered the world for years, seeking a place that would accept her for who she truly was. And one day, she finally found it; in the Guerrero clan. Azul and Arkose helped her become a more feminine dragon while Berlau and Tama accepted her as their sister immediately.
One day, Perla approached Ocean with a possible way to help her fit in her scales better. He wanted her to take his pearl and keep it with her for a whole day and night. Shocked and deeply touched, Ocean accepted this responsibility with great care and tended to the pearl with a bit of advice from the girls.
And when Ocean awoke from a night with the pearl at her side, she finally found her body matched her mind. She was immensely grateful to Perla, who said he was all too happy to help.
A mere few nights later, everyone realized she could get pregnant too.
