Uh-oh, looks like this brave boy wandered a little too far from his home lair (Tiliqua,276645) and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!


I am a Guardian, searching for his charge. I didn't find it back home, maybe you could help me? Let me have a look around your lair, please? Feel free to write in my journal, I always forget.

Tiliqua (Home)

As the rest of the clan waved goodbye, Caspian soared out into the blue. He had no destination in mind, no plans, no deadline, no worries.

He was free, free. Where would life take him next? Who would he meet? Would he finally find a charge to protect? Would his nose stop itching?

Coastline

Caspian’s first visit was a clan in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. They lived on a little island in the middle of the sea. He met an older guardian there who had travelled all the way from the Ashfall Waste. He had searched for years before he found his charge. Caspian found his stories very interesting.

Although Caspian enjoyed the little island, there wasn’t much to do there, and there was still no sign of his charge. Soon he left to continue his journey.

Llezarii

Caspian came through the windy hills of the Reedcleft Ascend looking lost. He was soon found by a clan of all sorts of different dragon breeds that marvelled at how large he was! He decided to stay for a month or two there to catch up on his journey, and along the way, he found a friend that would accompany him on his journey. The Spectral Duskflapper he found was named Barry, and even though Caspian still couldn't seem to find a charge, Barry was a nice companion to help him continue on his journey to see the world.

Gaspard, the clan leader, and the rest of the clan were sad to see Caspian leave them so soon, but they understood that he wanted to explore the world of Sornieth; they wished him farewell, and they sent him on his way to see new and exciting things.

He next found himself staying at a small inn on the borders of shadow and light, hoping that perhaps one of the residents or the many travelers that passed through might at least give him some direction in his search or that any one of the slightly abnormal artifacts, knick-knacks or floating rocks could possibly, maybe be it... But alas not, Caspian felt no pull towards anything.

Although slightly annoyed that despite enlisting some of the inn staff to help him, he still had not found his charge, Caspian remained resolute and determined, bidding the inn farewell and taking to the skies once more.

MedaPrincess

Caspian found himself again in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, deep under the waves in a crystalline cave. He'd found a weird bunch this time. They were loud and highly unorganized, clutter spilling out from many of the rooms. A few rooms seemed kept in more order than others, but almost no surface was free of some sort of trinket or bobble or questionable material. Surely something here would catch his fancy.

Something here did catch his fancy, but not among the numerous possessions of the clan, and not quite a Charge either. But the excitable blue mirror certainly interested him. Perhaps they would travel together a while.

Rosebunhun

The duo flew west to the Starfall Isles, weaving through the jagged Crystalspine Reaches and ascending to the heights of the Focal Point. They were drawn by the scent of roses to a lair of eclectic clan-mates, welcomed by their stoic Progenitor Zubat and his alluring queen Venonat. Caspain and SugarMelon observed the clans daily tending of their luscious roses and the evening rituals of the stargazers. Shortly after a feast celebrating his companions scale-change, the duo bid the clan farewell and travelled onward.

DragonSister

Next, it was time for a small respite. The couple took a few days to meet the dragons in a small clan in Wind Territory. But eventually, like all of the travellers passing through there, they too longed for other sites, other sounds and, after hearty farewells, continued on their (uncharted) way.

Hyzenthlaay

Their way might have been uncharted, but to Knack of Clan Mavenlark, it was fate. She convinced Caspian to stay the night - and he left with a hearty nest of hatchlings cooing his name. He had briefly considered that they may be his charge, but between the insistence of the Snapper he had so shortly known as his mate and the general call of travel eating at his ears, he didn't have much time to reflect on it before leaving.

Zikul

Next, he met a few other Guardians in the deserts of the Shifting Expanse. They spoke at length about charges - how it could take a lifetime to find it, how it could be a person or an item, or even a place. Many good clan leaders, they said, had their entire clan and its land as their charge. The thought to settle down and maybe start a clan of his own was slowly hatched in Caspian's mind, and he decided to continue to travel the world, to see if any place he came across felt like it might be the perect spot.

Caspian waited for a while, thinking this would be the place to rest - but it wasn't so. The call to travel once came up him and he had to scratch the itch to spread his wings. He said goodbye to all his clan friends and leapt up; then flew off into the sunset.
