Biography


Dragons notice that there is something just a tad off with Sorairo. On the surface, he is one of the happiest dragons you could ever meet; a stereotypical tundra, very forgetful, but very lovable. But if you are one of the dragons that has known him for a while, or can see a bit deeper, you will notice there is also a sadness buried under the cheerful exterior. A sadness that Sorairo himself can't quite put a claw on. You see, Sorairo used to be a Guardian. And he used to have a Charge.

Heiying found him. He was... berserk. She tried to talk to him, to calm him down, but nothing was working. He was wreaking havoc, so Heiying eventually had to resort to magic to calm him down. He was still incoherent and wild, but she managed to get him to a safe place where he could not hurt other dragons. There she put him into a deep sleep and used a spell to see his thoughts. What she saw made her deeply sad. He had lost his Charge. What that Charge was, Heiying has never told anyone, except for Mheras. Most of the clan doesn't even know that Sorairo used to be a Guardian, for there in that safe place, Heiying called up all the magic within her to change him into a Tundra, one of the most forgetful breeds of dragon.

Nowadays, Sorairo sometimes feels sad, but he doesn't know the reason. During these times, Heiying wonders if she did the right thing... Would it have not been more merciful to send him to the Gods, and let them heal him?
