As her title states, she is extremely motherly, even to those older or of higher authority than her. She takes care of any new young dragons alongside their parents, and takes hatchlings as her own children should they have no one to look after them. In the case of a foreign hatchling, typically the Elemental Symbol dragons, both Chervil and Danroku will look after them together like father and mother (though the two share no such feelings for each other). Danroku can often be a little over-protective in some occasions, but she only wishes the best for all young dragons. She also periodically helps Tiren out with caring for his familiars. However, since breeding within the clan has halted and receiving dragons from outside is rare, Danroku often has nothing to do, so she is regarded as a servant and performs typical servant tasks as well. Her relationship with her older half-sister is a rather strange one; since she is related to PoisonSnap, she feels obligated to have a good relationship with her, but PoisonSnap typically exhibits annoyance and tries to drive her away. Danroku's biggest wish was having children of her own, so when it came true, she was more than delighted to spoil her two sons.
