Notorious for being the youngest leader the Clan of Mossfire has had for generations, Lantern also remains their acclaimed best, what with the gentle yet responsible and passionate air about him. When he's not busy tending to his clanmates or responsibilities as the leader, he likes to go visit the dens with nursing dragonesses and meet the hatchlings, often found racing them when they're able to walk properly, albeit going easy on them to help build their confidence.

Lantern was granted leadership from the now-deceased former leader, Sigil, who was adored by many of the members of the clan old enough to remember him. Due to his age, many at first were unsure of his position or his capabilities to run the clan, though this was something that never deterred Lantern's determination to live up to his predecessor's expectations.

Lantern was originally born in the Arcane Flight, where the Clan of Mossfire was located before he gained leadership and decided it best to move to the Light Flight, which the clan has happily made their home since that day. He's also known for allowing the clan to represent their native flight if they wish since Mossfire is made up of so many dragons who have immigrated.
