Guard Captian |
B I O G R A P H Y
However, Phrike is not a god. She is not all-powerful. She is not immortal. But, she is a good citizen. She is a good Guard Captian. She is a good mother. Despite the hard work of her job, Phrike still looks to care for those she loves, as hard as it is to be an authority figure and a respectable citizen, Phrike has been able to do it. Although, not without losing her own head. Phrike was alone for a long portion of her life, her clan had planned to send her and her siblings to Plaguebringer, an act of good faith to, hopefully, gain her favor in her quest of Dominance battles. But their gifts never reached their goddess' graces. Instead traveling merchants picked up the eggs, mistaking them for gifts from Plaguebringer, and bartered with them. Sadly, Phrike's siblings never hatched, instead of being given to Lightweaver for the merchant's own graces. Plaguebringer, enraged at her loss of warriors, bestowed Phrike with her most valuable weapon: anger. Although she had not yet been hatched, Phrike, still curled inside her egg, felt nothing but hatred towards the merchants and vowed to make them pay.. |
B I O G R A P H Y
After watching her young disciple gain her revenge, Plaguebringer called upon a Keeper, a Gaoler named Praeteritum, older than the ground he walked on, to take the hatchling to her new home, a refugee camp right on the border of her lands, and begin writing the clan's stories. Praeteritum has never let the uptight guard know of her past, for he fears her anger. A spirit of horror in a good mood can only lead to destruction when caved into their own. Although he is never certain that this is the best case for the dragon he speaks of, in this case, he is forced to think of the clan as a whole |
