VDiDxBR.gif Kaze, Wind Representative, Founder of Counsel
+ traits: compassion, considerate, relaxed.
- traits: unpredictable, "kill them with kindness" attitude, easily manipulated.

It begun in the Windswept Plateau, the territory that the wind deity Windsinger claimed when the lands were first being forged. Soon after it's formation, many groups began to form within the vast terrains the environment provided. Kaze however, was summoned to no clan in particular. She was not born, instead crafted from the imagination of the Windsinger, encased within an egg for a clan to find. She laid in one of the many enviornments the Windswept Plateau provided, until an individual member of a clan found the egg and brought it to their clan.

Unfortunately for Kaze, the clan that found her was not the brightest, most caring, nor the kindest. Once released from her vessel, Kaze was released into a world that provided plenty of negativity, judgment, and resent of what were supposed to be her welcoming clanmates. As a child, Kaze never had a say in what happened around her or to her. She never made her own decisions, never had her own voice. She was simply a puppet, her strings being pulled by her superiors; when and how they deemed fit. As she grew older, she learned to adapt to this environment. Rude natures and brutal attacks on her mentality became the norm for her. Something ignited in her though. A desire to rise above the others. A desire to fight for her rights. The rights she deserved to be born into. With that mentality now forced into her mind, she took the risk and fled the clan.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
But the task to free herself from the grueling conditions of this clan was far from over. The day she fled, a search party was sent out after her, with the orders to render her useless through any means necessary before returning her to the clan. Because she was not born and instead "blessed" upon the clan, she was a sign of power and fortune to come. It had been shared generation to generation that a dragon hatched from an egg found in the wild would determine the fate of the clan. They were considered direct charms with that of a deity's blessing. If the dragon were to say, the clan would be granted the deities luck and skill. If the dragon were to leave, the clan would inevitably falter and crumble.

That was more than enough motivation, and incentive for this ruthless clan to come after Kaze. They seeked power. They didn't care about how many dragons they had to slay, how many children they had to force into their clan. They cared only about their rise to power, and Kaze leaving, in their eyes, surely meant it would be the end of their rise to power. Kaze was alerted of the search when a young child made her way towards her, initially meant to be bait to lure Kaze to a remote location where they could trap her and return her to the clan. The child felt guilt; much like Kaze had by leaving the clan, and decided to instead warn Kaze of the areas to avoid on her trip. Thanks to this little bit of advice, Kaze safely made it out of the territory the Windsinger owned. She was then warmly welcomed into Sunbeam Ruins, ruled by the Lightweaver. After many restless nights in which she experienced bad panic attacks from paranoia, an idea rose. A counsel, she thought. Where all the flights could send one dragon to represent their thoughts, ideas, and progress in their clans powers.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
VDiDxBR.gif With this new, solid idea now engraved in her mind, she began work on the formation of this counsel. Before making any rash decisions, she consulted the Lightweaver. The Lightweaver explained to her that before this could work, she would need others exactly like her. Others with no family, no bloodline, simply blessed upon the lands by the deities. This was a task that would require long periods of travel, that travel requiring Kaze to venture from territory to territory. She would have to talk to the deities that reigned over each land, and convince them into offering their best dragon for the counsel. Only the best of the best would be acceptable for the counsel, the Lightweaver went on to explain. With this knowledge, Kaze had to make her decision. Would she live a peaceful life in the Sunbeam Ruins, knowing that clans were out there still fighting, or make a stand with the other flights to combat the brutality Kaze witnessed first hand.

Her decision was pretty much self explanatory, of course she chose the second option. It was already difficult enough, knowing she had to travel to each territory owned by their respective deities. She would also have to convince them all to offer their best, and she wasn't even guaranteed a success. Not only that, but she would have to possibly confront one of her biggest fears; passing through the Windswept Plateau once more. The risk of encountering her previous,
heartless clan would be high, assuming they weren't already wiped out. But she doubted that. It had only been a couple of months since she fled, and they had some of the strongest and intelligent fighters she had ever crossed paths with. Strong defenses and careless natures unfortunately got many dragons farther than she would hope.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
But, she did have a possible alternative; a much more desirable path she could take. The Ashfall Waste and the Sea Of A Thousand Currents bordered it. She decided the safest way, and the way that would almost guarantee she wouldn't encounter any of her previous clan mates, was to go around the territory all together. This would mean instead of beginning her trip through the icy cold water to the Southern Icefield by starting her journey at the Windswept Plateau's border, she would instead have to back track through other deities lands once talking to the Flamecaller in the Ashfall Waste. It was a rather easy decision for her to make. She put it into more simple questions, rather than worrying about the actual journey. Possibly be caught and broken down more mentally, or just be sore on your feet for a few days? The second option obviously sounds less painful in the long run, now doesn't it?

Once she planned her journey, she talked to the Lightweaver once more. Already being in her territory, she decided to get the debate over with. A debate that never actually occurred, since the Lightweaver had already been associated with Kaze and knew she had no intentions other than helping. She granted Kaze the first member of her counsel; Hikari. However, she then went on to explain that all of the members of the counsel would have to meet in the Sunbeam Ruins and that the counsel would reside there. Hikari would only be released when the counsel was ready to be fully formed. That was the agreement Kaze and the Lightweaver made before she began her journey. Once Kaze saw the egg with her own eyes, she said her goodbyes to the Lightweaver and the rest residing in the Sunbeam Ruins then began her travel across the land.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
VDiDxBR.gif She started by making her way to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the territory ruled by the water deity Tidelord. When she confronted her about her task, in which required his blessing of a dragon solely for a counsel, he became puzzled. Then he became approving of the concept, but still slightly stubborn about giving her a dragon for the counsel. It took several hours of debate and reasoning before the Tidelord gave in. This was when Mizu, the representative of water was created. She was given a slightly sensitive personality, allowing her to provide sympathy and emotionally constructed input in all situations, considering the emotions of those around her. The counsel would need someone who was emotional and sensed when something was up, the Tidelord explained to Kaze. Once she was created, one of the Tidelords underlings was given the task to bring it and present it to the Lightweaver. After the dragon began their trip to the Sunbeam Ruins, Kaze quickly left, making her way down to the Shifting Expanse.

Kaze sensed something was off though. She felt a prying set of eyes present on her as she tread through the water that reached up to her knees. After a few minutes, she finally made it onto the sand. She shook each of her legs slightly in order to get the water off before continuing through the sand towards the land where blue lightning struck the sand of a desert frequently. But something persisted on feeling off, to the point that she stopped in her tracks and looked. She almost missed it, but the caught a glimpse of a dragon to her left. She had a brown pelt and green eyes, exactly like her own. A sinking feeling went to her gut she realized something - she recognized this dragon from the clan. The clan that had destroyed her mental being. The clan that inspired her to make this counsel and make this tough journey.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
At first, she was afraid, then she was confused, and then she was angry. Angry that this new route hadn't even saved her from encountering one of the dragons from the clan that ripped her mental being apart without even having second thoughts about what they were doing to her. Kaze stood in silence for a moment, then took a step back, looking at the dragon in the distance. The dragon noted this sudden stop and took the opportunity to land in front of her. Kaze noted that she herself was probably 3 times larger than this dragon. The dragon was roughly half the length of Kaze's tail. Without exchanging a single word, Kaze lashed her tail against the flank of the dragon and knocked them onto the ground. Her gaze grew cold as her teeth bared. She questioned who the dragon was, what their objective was.

Against the ground, the dragon spoke in a soft voice, something uncommon with the dragons of this clan. "I'm not sure if you would remember now, Kaze, but I'm the child that warned you about that ambush.. that ambush when you first ran away.." Kaze looked at the dragon, her light green eyes narrowed. She still didn't trust this dragon, until she realized something. She briefly went back to that day in her mind, comparing the appearances of the two dragons. They matched. Kaze looked down at the dragon, still appearing to be puzzled. The dragon then went on to beg for trust. "I know you don't trust me Kaze, but please, I don't mean any harm. You're three times my size.. let me help you on this mission. I'm Bianca.." Kaze's suspicions about this dragon subsided. She noted in her head that even if she were lying, she could probably crush her. She put on a smile and nodded, approving of the concept.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
VDiDxBR.gif Bianca and Kaze then made their way through the rest of the lands, discussing the events of the clan after she left, which had resulted in it falling apart and disbanding entirely. This made the rest of the journey for Kaze easy, since she rested easy knowing the clan had broke apart. They made it to the shifting expanse, where many dragons were working on advanced technology. Lightning struck the ground of the deserts that made up the vast territory frequently. They then made their way to the Ashfall Waste, where many small craters oozed lava onto the rocky ground the land provided. They traveled for roughly a month, spending some nights at the lands to rest and eat. Their final trip was to the Viridian Labyrinth, where the Gladekeeper reigned over all the nature dragons. Water flowed peacefully along the grass, and a single large tree stood at the center, where the Gladekeeper watched over all the dragons.

The Gladekeeper had been warned of their coming, and had already sent an egg to the Lightweaver. Knowing this, Kaze and Bianca made the final steps of their trip back down to the Sunbeam Ruins, where all the eggs had been gathered in an abandoned arena to be hatched.Separate pillars representing each element were aside their respective dragons, resembling those each of the deities had received at the beginning. When Bianca and Kaze arrived, the Lightweaver greeted them and the ceremony began. The representatives for the counsel were hatched one by one, starting with the earth. They went down the line, it went earth, water, arcane, light, plague, nature, ice, shadow, and finally, fire. The dragons emerged and walked to the center, looking around curiously. The counsel could not be truly formed for roughly 2 months, so the dragons had aged, but the best personalities and the strongest mix of dragons had been put together by Kaze for the counsel.
