Tharros is perhaps the most blindly-courageous mage you'll ever meet. Where most choose either the sword or the wand, Tharros saw fit to choose both. In his mind, the pen is mightiest with the sword. Fittingly enough, he has an enchanted set of weaponry that he's christened "Engarde." He's not one to shy away from a challenge, and it's not uncommon that he'll bite off more than he can chew. In an effort to finally teach him some self control, Ceremar "appointed" him as Widmun's assistant, hoping the astute paladin would show him sense.
Not long after, a former pirate by the name of Ysvete also found himself under Widmun's tutelage. Tharros and Ysvete, both possessing fiery spirits, soon became firm friends. As their training progressed, so to did their relationship, and the two are now mated.
