Sickness pours forward from him in waves, rot trailing behind every step like tendrils and a caress- his touch makes it follow, a brush of bony fingers across a cheek that only bring death, laughter in his eyes. His mother's son, perhaps, but he is not logical as she is. If she is cold, he is warm, hot, boiling over and grinning because he takes what he wants. Isn't that what plague is? Taking? He can't see why it wouldn't be. Lacking an interest in any calling besides himself, he was young when he left his home, leaving only a parting note.

His name is a warning, by now. He'll help you, oh will he help, but it comes with a price. He will take everything not nailed down, every piece of a person who comes to him, if they aren't fully prepared to bargain. He cares not for boundaries. The heart wants what it wants, and he never learnt to say no to himself. He can supply help, can call to the earth and the Filthy One; but never for free. He indulges himself in physical pleasures whenever he's able and speaks so softly, so gently and so freely that you wouldn't expect his next act to soak the earth with blood. But it always does- oh, it always does.
