Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this wannabe knight wandered a little too far from his home lair (276686, gbot13), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.
This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Raised by a powerful sorcerer and a stubborn, but well-intentioned mother, Serhild was raised to be a warrior. Upon realizing his son did not exhibit the inherent magical abilities to be a mage, Glacier decided to give his son over to Thalos, as he did with Kireg, his other non-magical son. Serhild began dreaming of knighthood and the armor that Thalos always wore.
Serhild dreamt so much that he would lie awake on the edges of the Carrion Canyon's caves and gaze up at the stars. He so wanted his own armor, and to be a mighty knight. A couple months into his training with Thalos, the clan went digging in the desert, and unearthed many rusted chests. Inside one was a dented, slightly-too-large tarnished steel gorget, and Serhild claimed it. Now, he never takes it off, and his possession of the gorget only increases his drive to be a knight. After Thalos trained Serhild with everything he knew, the young dragon wanted to continue on in his training. Serhild knew the only way to do this was to travel outside of the Carrion Canyon and the only home he had ever known, so he bravely packed up his gorget and left the clan.
Serhild began his journey north from the bleak and crumbling expanse of Carrion Canyon, deciding to explore the Sunbeam Ruins for his first adventure. As the cliffs signaling the end of his trek through the Canyon, he took flight. Many times he had flown past these craggy faces, the bones of long dead ancient beasts and the fleeting shadows of the living ones quite familiar to him. Unlike others who passed through, he did not fear the great jagged gouge in the earth. What lay before him frightened him much more: the unknown. But to the warrior, fear was excitement and it struck through his chest like the lightning of his homeland. The energy took him higher and higher into the sky, soaring high above the clouds.
He tumbled through the cold clouds, crowing and boasting of his freedom. His reverie was cut short, though, for when he looked down and through the clouds he did not see his destination of the Hewn City. He flew instead above a vast expanse of deep greens and bright, colorful flowers. Serhild quickly landed and found he had overshot, arriving in the Everbloom Gardens of the Viridian Labyrinth. He was shocked as to what he found. He had only ever known the Carrion Canyon, filled with bones, but here life abounded. Strange creatures flew and scuttled and waddled around him and across his path without fear. They did not hide in the shadows, instead showing their vibrant colors off to him. He realized that despite his training, he was completely out of his element.
Serhild decided that the strange life in this strange forest was too overwhelming for him, so he decided to move on.
After a lengthy stay at home Serhild decided that he wanted to continue his journey. He decided to travel to the Windswept Plateau with hopes of finding a traveling band of warriors...But that wasn't exactly what he found. Instead Serhild came upon a very nice clan filled with a variety of dragons. He was able to meet many different dragons and train with a vast array of warriors. He most enjoyed his training with Kalira, who taught him to be both fierce and kind - to be a knight with honor and dignity.
