The best healer in the clan, he (regrettably) gives little hint of how or why he learned.

Even tempered (usually) and cold mannered (typically). However, he's ALWAYS STUBBORN.
Tenacious, always gets the job done, whatever the odds may be and whatever things he must do.

Never fails to impress his clanmates under pressure, regardless of urgency. Almost seems to work miracles.

Always smells like antiseptic.

Despises when Zero (or, any dragon, really) gets himself hurt or sick by being reckless.
(Which happens a lot, in Zero's case.)

He prefers not to talk to in depth about his scars, but may oblige where he sees fit.

A cold and aloof exterior belies how much passion he has for keeping his clanmates alive in even the most hostile environments.

Despite the common ground, McCoy and Kuro'o do not always get along. In fact, you would be hard-pressed to find ANY dragon versed in medicine that gets along with him.
