Luna was not born in the Southern Icefields; she originally hailed from a clan in the Tangled Wood, raised amidst the murk and shadows of the evergreen forests. Her talent in stealth is unrivaled by that of any other dragon in the lair, and it is not uncommon for others to be startled by her sudden appearance in a room. To most, Luna is unnerving and highly unpredictable, which, intentionally or not, tends to isolate her from the rest of the clan. One day, she can be calm and following orders from her superiors, and the next, manic and hungry for blood, swiftly racing away from the group to score a kill or ten.

A ruthless hunter to the core, Luna is head of her unit in the clan's battle forces, specializing in reconnaissance missions and nighttime ambushes. The dark silver of her hide allows her to blend into the moonlit shadows of the landscape, and the smooth, quiet workings of her mechanical wing augmentations double the speed at which she flies from one hiding place to the next.

Her left eye is scarred and half-blinded from an accident that occurred in her youth, though her acute senses of smell and sound -- able to detect the subtlest alterations or vibrations in the air -- more than make up for the loss. Her enemies certainly do not seem to notice any disability, especially after they are dead.
