A more in-depth look at Madman.

Madman's name came from my new in game name on town of salem, whim of a madman. Since I happened to name his mate Whim, I figure he had to be madman. Now his lore is going ot involve some crazy witch hunt obsessed madman. xD

He reached his hand slowly into the pentacle of time, clicking the pieces in the correct order to finish their life. Madman had been given a gift that allowed him to peer into a persons remaining lifespan. He was able to influence this by spinning their clock in a particular order, though this ability was heavily restricted. Mad had orders from a special friend, rules, he had to follow. Mad was unable to use his time click on the pure of faith, children, and he could never extend a persons life. Mad was designated as a Prev, a preventer of calamity. Specifically, he was dispatched to prevent all sorts of chaos caused by any number of unsavory individuals. In exchange for his services, Mad was granted unlimited access to the "planets most valueable substance," grape sode.
The martyr slumped to the floor, gasping for the remaining seconds Mad had left him. The man would find himself at the great gates soon and his judge would find him unworthy of eternal peace. Mad had seen the gates personally. They were a little underwhelming considering all the hype they got among the living. He stared blankly at the body that layed on the floor, the man's sins covered the walls and infected the entire town with fear. There was no saving the family, but he knew they'd be judged well, and this gave him the peace he needed to continue down the list of names he had been given that week. The list was longer than usual by about 30 names, this meant his friend needed to make time for a chat. That or the living had been very naughty that week.
As if on cue, Mad's phone rang. Perhaps there was a special target he had to see to, those were always fun. Mad couldn't die, making for more exciting chases. They always ran too, as if death were an escapable thing. Mad had a great track record, 0% escapes. Those odds versus their footchase. Mad took a sip of his soda and nodded his head.
