Brother to Tanemahuta, they migrated from another Light lair (June 2017) along with Delphos, looking to stretch their wings and make their own way in life since their parents left to join the Lightweaver's forces.

Tangaroa is the god of the sea in Māori mythology, sometimes depicted as a whale. Tāwhirimātea, the god of weather, attacked his other brothers for separating their parents (Earth and Sky), driving Tangaroa into the sea where he became father to fish and reptiles. However, the reptiles fled Tāwhiri's onslaught into Tāne's forests, and ever since, Tangaroa has held a grudge with Tāne for offering refuge to his runaway children.
