Jackalope

Jackalope is one of the more socially pleasant of Railclaw's hunters. He does not speak Draconic very well due to speech impairments, but his written poetry is of considerable value within his area of influence. When he is not out worrying the wildlife or tracking for his fellows, he enjoys attending parties in other clans.

Jackalope was very close with his clan's previous medic Abidan, and was a friend of Doctor Kyle before his death. He taught late Rhylaste all the fae knew about archery, and visited Empatheia to check on him following his disappearance. He is very loyal to his friends and it is not difficult to count oneself among them.

Jackalope was one of the last non-mirror dragons residing in Clan Railclaw's keep during the Early Riot, and continues to be an active member of the clan.

8/10/17 - Jackalope is sent to track down and slay a wounded ophiotaurus that killed one of his clan's younger hunters. While out, he encounters a strange pearlcatcher.
1/28/18 - Jackalope comes back from a hunt with a heavy cough and high fever. He immediately goes to Abidan, the clan's medic and a good friend of his.
1/31/18 - Jackalope meets Marmor in Abidan's ward. The two have little to talk about.
2/8/18 - Jackalope informs Abidan of Marmor's death.
2/9/18 - Jackalope attempts to leave Abidan's ward, but is encouraged to stay for further observation.
2/15/18 - Jackalope is cleared to return to his duties.
8/21/18 - Jackalope and Sereven are called away from their private hunt in the Nature Flight. They return to the Contagion to serve as explosive experts and strategists in an upcoming attack on Dullmist, an Empatheian province ruled by a soul-devouring demon.
8/26/18 to 9/8/18 - Jackalope joins Abidan in the monitoring, care and, in some unfortunate cases killing of quarantined warriors in a makeshift ward in Sorrowtown. They are aided by local doctors Heathcliffe and Tinctorius.
10/15/19 - Jackalope heads to Empatheia to help keep order while their monarch is away. He finds the assignment rather pleasant, even during the few times he came into brief conflict with the locals. During his time there, he attempts to court Vivien but is rejected outright.
9/1-20/20 - Jackalope, Glass and Seriven step up to help maintain order after Herop's death. With Rhoss's blessing, the trio reestablish the clan council structure that was abandoned when Matriarch Mary first took the throne. Glass and Haze perish later in the year, and find their place in the old city's crypt.
