History - Nephthys was born to the Baron Osiris and his mate Amadea. Upon the death of her mother when she was young, her father began to snap her into place, teaching her to become a great Baroness. Upon her coming of age, she chose the traveler Njord to become her Baron. Her father died before he could see her married.
Upon bearing her first clutch, Nephthys discovered that she was was barren. The eggs were brittle, and cracked and fell apart. She and her mate were heavily saddened, and, in a state of denial, they conceived another clutch. The same fate plagued one of the unborn hatchlings, while the Second was hatched weak and sickly. He barely survived his first moon of life, but eventually, the prince Nazaire grew to adulthood. Nephthys and Njord raised their son as best they could, but ultimately, it wasn't enough. The boy had no morals, and was soon discovered to have not only brutally attacked his betrothed, but to have also conspired against his clan to have them overthrown. Nazaire, the pride of his parents, was executed for treason and the violent attack of a female.
To ease their pain, a surrogate female was introduced into the picture. She bore the couple three beautiful children, two sons, Soren and Sait, and a daughter, Audra. However, upon the discovery of their true mother and her leaving the clan, all three abandoned the clan to seek her out, a new resentment for the Baron and Baroness set deep within them. The pair never again attempted to birth more heirs
Soon Njord began to claim he was superior, and suppress the opinions of his wife. Nephthys, so blindly in love with him, could not see that he was growing into a tyrannical leader, over the clan and even her. But soon, the loss and desecration the caused the clan could not be ignored, and she took action: she killed him. But not before he wounded her severely. She, expecting to die, insisted on spending her last moments upon her father's altar.
