Shadow

He rolled around in a pile of ‘Shadow Jr.’s’ fur. Seaburst had learned not to question at this point. He placed a small top-hat on the ball of grey fluff, who was already adorned in a tiny tuxedo. He plopped him at a table in front of a tea set. Shadow lifted the pot and poured what was probably tea into the cat’s cup.
“Oh isn’t it loverly?” He asked with his famous posh accent and gazed at the creature with wistful eyes. The cat stared back in fear and gave a pitiful meow.
Shadow chuckled and planted a kiss on forehead, “I love you too, I can promise you that,”
Then something lighted in Shadow’s eyes, something wild and wonderful,
