". . ." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Bromeliad hatched to a small clan although he doesn't remember much aside from it being small and having a lovely view and his parents being very kind. His hatchling days in his parents' clan were fairly uneventful, no awful event set him on his path and no terrible hardship shaped his view, he enjoyed making things as a hatchling and didn't grow out of his passion as he grew older. He built small things for his clan while he was there, some of which were sold and some kept. Anything that was sold was credited to him and he kept the majority of the treasure such sales earned; not that treasure was a major concern. He bought what cloths and other apparel he wanted with the treasure and saved the rest in case he found something or for when he left the clan as he would need to buy supplies. When he did leave his hatch clan he gathered enough supplies to last him on his journey, he would forage for bugs on the way when he could or when he came along a particularly plentiful supply as he may not find another decent supply he could stop to gather. The trip to a new clan was a long one since he chose not to take the shortest route over the Sea of a Thousand Currents and took the overland path instead to the Sunbeam ruins, wanting a change in scenery from the Windswept Plateau while still being able to feel the breeze. The clan that took him in was a very kind one and in need of someone to build props for them, a job which he took happily, building each item to the best of his abilities took time as he plans out what needs to be done before starting his work. Most of what he built went to the Cathedral of Eyes, a place which he had not been, but which an Imperial drake, Chaucer had. Bromeliad found it easier to ask questions while he worked on the next order, finding out the Cathedral was a difficult place to get to because it was not in any particular time or place rather hidden by shifts in both and guarded by monstrous creatures that call the space in the shift home. Bromeliad accepted this with ease and felt pride that his work was being used in the performances the opera house puts on and got to know several dragons within his clan, becoming friends with many within the clan as he settled in and set up a small workshop to make his props and he often had his clan mates bring him the supplies he needed to make any requested props. Bromeliad had seen a small music box that Chaucer kept with him on many occasions and found himself curious about the trinket, did it do something special or had it been given to him by someone special in the past? Bromeliad decided to check the music box, although the 'tiny' trinket was much larger than him, tiny to the imperial he supposed silently. Quietly slipping into the satchel Chaucer kept on him, the small drake found himself in a dark, leather scented area. It was comfortably warm, but the small drake shook himself and went about looking for the trinket. He found the music box with writing on the side of it that he couldn't decipher. While trying to figure out which language it could be, Bromeliad fell asleep and when the Fae woke he found they were no long in the clan as he knew it. Finding himself and stuck in the Cathedral of Eyes, Bromeliad took to making props for the performances again and met another Fae drake, Alex, who made puppets. Bromeliad took Alex as his apprentice and the two made props for the many and various performances that the opera house put on. Once again the supplies he and Alex use were brought in by their clanmates and the two helped each other with projects when they could, finding the task much easier since most of what they built was much larger than either of them. Bromeliad doesn't mind his predicament much, he loves making props and has Alex and others who come in for company, the noises and sounds that the creatures that lurk in the forest and water near the Cathedral is a bit unnerving and he finds himself grateful that he is safe inside the structure and they are outside the walls. Bromeliad has never seen any of the creatures, but has heard tales of those who have and they were enough to give him nightmares.
