The innocence of this one seemed doomed from the moment he pushed free of the shell and opened his eyes for the first time. Whatever cheerful playfulness he might have had as a pup seemed to wither within him almost immediately, and he developed into a sullen, quiet child, given to gazing with oddly judgmental eyes at anyone in proximity to him.

His affliction seems to be magical in nature, if however subtle: he can detect the true intentions and attitudes of other dragons via a kind of magical olfactory sense. Being that he comes from a family of dragons who are all, without question, duplicitous and dishonest by nature, one may forgive him if he seems to have aged before his time and regards others with a look of open suspicion that would be nigh indecent in any other context.

Young though he is, he is difficult for others to befriend or even socialise with in a positive manner. He is mostly quiet, and seems disinterested in pursuing conversation; if prodded to talk, he is given to little more than churlish mumbling.
