The recording begins with a burst of static and a few seconds of shaky videography, then focuses on the interior of an engineer's cluttered workshop. A snapper in a welding mask walks into view, and the recorder starts picking up her speech halfway through a sentence.

"...admit, I haven't slept for two weeks, but here we are. You recording?"

A geartoggle smith's three-fingered hand flashing a thumbs-up slowly comes into focus in the corner of the screen. The hand is quickly retracted, and the camera shakes as if lightly slapped before it refocuses on the snapper.
