Biography

Enlil's mate

There was always that fence that was just sitting in the middle of nowhere between the Sundial Terrace and the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, enclosing several acres of flat land with a single gate. Crossing over it and exploring its inner boundaries never revealed anything except for the grassy field that it encloses. However, the address the letter gave was to the same area. To your surprise, instead of the grassy field that you expected, there was an enormous building in the center of the area enclosed. The roof is so high in the clouds you can't even see it, and the entire building is dusted with glitter. The gate is open, and it opens to a nice wide cobblestone pathway that leads to the entrance of the building, with some glitter dust on it. There is also lush thick grass instead of the thin dry grass that used to cover the ground. There is a sign hung on the open gate:
sign wrote:
Tours start at the entrance to the Glittervault.
You see two dragons standing by the entrance to the building, large enough for 5 dragons to enter side by side.
Do you choose to walk up to the entrance on the cobblestone pathway or walk up to the entrance on the thick grass?

Amaterasu stood petrified in awe, staring at the enermous building. By the Wardens, buildings are scarce, and small as everybody revers nature more, than dragonmade things. Even the Thousand Years Old Oak, wich is the center of their domain - seems to be smaller than this palace. She shook her head, and blinked a little nervously, when a dragon, who choosed the cobblestone path bumped into her accidently. She licked her pearl as every time she was thinking. Actually, she was a little afraid, but she remembered what the old guardian said before she left. "Courage is to fight with fear, not not feel it."
- Hey cuite! Will you move, or what? - A skydancer leaned over her shoulder. - Nah, put your pretty pearl away, and come with me. - He shrugged and began to walk. Amaterasu blushed, put the pearl into her bag and headed after the skydancer. The tall grass and earth under her feet felt more natural anyway, so she choosed that way instead of the stones.

Thick grass:
As you walk on the grass, you can't help but notice how nice it feels walking in such thick grass-
*beep*
A mini explosion of glitter erupts in your face from the ground! Well that explains why the letter warned that you would get glitter all over you. Although you wonder why there are glitter mines in the grass as you see more bursts with your fellow tour members being hit. You reach the entrance, after either being hit by more glitter bursts or rushing onto the cobblestone pathway, which remained clear of incidents.

Cobblestone path:

As you walk on the cobblestone pathway, you notice that a lot of it seems to be relatively new, despite signs of weathering. It seems that it's not often used-
*boom*
Several explosions of glitter catches your eye as you're walking, over on the thick grass. It seems that the thick grass hid several glitter mines from view, as said mines have exploded and decorated those tour members that decided to approach the entrance on the thick grass with a dusting of glitter somewhat like the building you're approaching. You reason that the dusting of glitter on the pathway you're on was most likely the residual glitter from said mines. You reach the entrance, after watching more glitter bursts occur on the grass.

The two dragons waiting at the entrance are a crystalline orca-colored skydancer, who is currently shaking her head at the antics of an amethyst-colored spiral, currently laughing his head off.

25312020p.png Haha oh I told you we should have put another sign that said "Please keep off the lawn" but you thought that the path was obvious enough for them!
Well, I thought it was, but looks like I was proven wrong. However, I think you may want to calm yourself down as they're here now. 31504524p.png
25312020p.png Heehee right right I'll stop now. Welcome to the Glittervault everyone! My name is Winterfang and my partner here is Dawn. We aren't actually tour guides, but we don't really have tours here anyways so we just fill in the role. I mean, we're still totally qualified to give you the run through of the entire building as we work here, and-
What my partner here meant to say was that we would be happy to show you through the Glittervault, what we do here, and possibly maaaaaybe accidentally getting you all covered in glitter. For now, come on in! 31504524p.png

You enter behind Dawn and Winterfang into the foyer of the building. The ceiling is several dragonlengths high, and the center of the room is dominated by a large statue of the Lightweaver with a clock at the base. There are several doors which a few dragons are flitting in and out of, more often than not loaded with sacks or boxes of glitter. There are numerous sofas sitting around the room, large and numerous enough that they could probably fit all the current touring members.

25312020p.png Why don't you all sit down and rest for a moment while I go get you all your visitor badges? After all, you can't really tour a place if you don't have a badge to show you're allowed to, heehee! Dawn will stay and make sure that everything remains fine.
And feel free to look around. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them, but you'll probably have most of them answered during the tour. 31504524p.png

Do you choose to sit down on a sofa or examine the statue of the Lightweaver?

She tried to cough up the glitter wich detonated into her face and growled at the skydancer who laughed till he stepped on a mine.
- Okay. Not funny. - He shooked his head and feathers. - What is so laughable? - Enlil raised his eyebrow.
- I imagined what would have happened in the Scarred Wasteland. Everything would be covered in goo... - She explained smiling.
- Yuck. Don't mention... - He sighed. They have slowly arrived to the entrance to listen to their hosts.

- Wow... she is... slim and... so graceful... - Amaterasu walked to the statue the moment they were allowed to look around.
- Don't tell me you have never seen her picture before. - Enlil stood near her, and leaned closer. - Your eyes are shining like light to me.
- Uhm... yeah. My parents have moved soon I was hatched. I'm living near the Shrieking Wilds now.
- Oh, I see. A lost child visiting her homeland. - He nodded and looked up the statue.
- Child? - She snorted. - And you? Why are you here?
- To adventure of course. - He winked. - Hey, do you think we will se a glitterfall? Like... a waterfall?

Those who sat on the sofa:
You take a seat on a sofa. They're very soft, and of course they're decorated with glitter. It seems like they're used for whenever a worker wants to take a momentary break, as you can see several sofas being used for that purpose. They're pretty comfy sofas, and with a nice view of the Lightweaver statue-
*chime*
It seems that the statue is some sort of glitter fountain, as everyone who went to examine the Lightweaver statue got 'rained' upon. You reason that the clock is probably a timer for when the fountain is on and when it's off.

And Amaterasu:
You decide to examine the statue of the Lightweaver. The clock at the base doesn't seem to tell the correct time, but it's still moving towards what would normally be 12. The statue itself is a very realistic representation of her, shimmering with light and portraying her with her wings outstretched, as if in flight, looming over you. What's strange is that the statue rests within a slight circular depression that encompasses much of the area around it, and there appear to be drains in the floor...?
You realize too late that it must also be some sort of fountain for it to have drains around the base as the clock chimes and glitter starts spewing from the Lightweaver fountain, a golden shower cascading down from her wings and mouth. You scamper out from under the 'splash' zone as fast as you can, but not before being glittered upon.

The Lightweaver statue in the center of the room is a tribute to our deity, the one who started this all. We call her 'Glittermama' for a reason. And I'm sure that you all were wondering about the glitter mines that were hidden in the grass. Those are just our failsafe response that activate whenever our main defense is off, which is why you can see the building in the first place. The main 'defense' we have is an intricate network of light beams that projects an illusion of this building not being here, as well as confusing anyone who enters within the fence borders. The light will inherently cause your vision to misinterpret where you're going, helpfully diverting you around the building while still portraying the illusion that you're going in a straight line. It also made the grass unappetizing to investigate as well. 31504524p.png
25312020p.png Heeeey I'm back with the badges! Oh did some of you had fun with our glitter fountain? And I see Dawn has already explained about how this building just suddenly up and appeared without notice. Well anyways, now that you have these badges, let's continue the tour!

(feel free to use either of these)

You walk down a hallway from the foyer, and take a large lift up to the top floor of the building, which was pretty high up. You can see from the windows cloud vapor obscuring your view. A short walk down another hallway and you enter what could only be described as a 'warehouse', as the entire room was filled with crates, boxes, chests, packages, sacks, all sorts of delivery containers. There are two main aisles dominating the room, with branch off aisles; one has several faes and spirals lifting and moving around small packages while the other aisle has guardians and imperials carrying larger packages.

25312020p.png This is where I work, helping out with package delivery. There are lots of varieties in package size, from small 'in your face' deliveries to large party supplies. Follow me down this aisle if you want to know more about large deliveries!
Well since Winter is covering that aisle, I'll be talking to you about small-end deliveries in this aisle. Although I do wonder why Winter decided to talk about that aisle, since he works in this aisle to begin with. 31504524p.png

Do you choose to follow Winterfang down the aisle with the guardians and imperials with large packages, or follow Dawn down the aisle with the faes and spirals with small packages?

- Here... is your Glitterfall... - The pearlcatcher sighed under the excessive flow of glitter.
- Clever, really clever. - He laughed. - The only problem is it tickles a little bit. - He shook himself to let some glitter go.
- Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! - The girl unzipped her bag to look inside.
- What? - Enlil looked back as he already started to walk back to the couches.
- My pearl... coated all in glitter... - She showed him sobbing. - And it won't come off! - She tried really hard to brush some sparkling particle off.
- Oh, it suits you better Sparkly. - He grined boardly.
- My name is Amaterasu. Not sparkly or cutie or any other. - She growled, but sighed after that. It seems she really have to live with a glittered pearl now on.
- And my name is Enlil. Nice to meet you. Come, we will be left behind. - He pointed to the others, who has already gathered around the guides.

- I am really interested who want this much glitter at once... But... I cannot trust the spiral... - She wishpered to the skydancer. - What if Winterfang will just bump one of the crates on us?
- Is it really matter anymore? - He smiled and streched his glittered wings.
- Uhm. No... not really. - She blinked nervously. - Then after Winterfang... - She nodded and followed the spiral to the aisle where guardians and imperials are working.
