Main Theme: Sleep Song- Secret Garden

______ Silentglow approached her master’s house, taking a minute to observe the beautiful white mansion in front of her. She entered the building, and walked down the elegant, long halls. She sighed as she cleaned; it was not her dream to be a maid. At least her master’s dog, Puck liked her—he barked at Silentglow and followed her around as she swept the house. Silentglow had to work efficiently and quickly, for if her master were to come home and she were still cleaning, they could beat her. Or, she could be whipped if she didn’t make the place completely spotless before she finished. She wished she could just run away, getaway from this miserable life of mundane routines. But alas, Silverglow had almost no education, and this was the only job she managed to get, so she had to do this to sustain herself.
Almost tripping on her dress, Silentglow galloped away from her master’s mansion, looking back fearfully every thirty seconds or so. Puck ran alongside her eagerly, most likely not aware the complicity of the situation but willing to stay by her side. When the two had reached a clearing in the woods, Silentglow finally collapsed from exhaustion onto a patch of soft moss. She pat Puck’s head and sighed. “Buddy, what are we going to do?” The reality of her circumstance had just sunk in, and she wondered if she and Puck would have to keep moving or try to survive in the woods. Scattered, Silentglow made a little bed of moss for Puck to lie in and wandered around to get familiar with her area. She found a long, thin blue stream with smooth gray rocks basking in the light filtered through the trees, and salmon jumping upstream to spawn. She waited at the edge of the stream, looking for a fish to jump up right in front of her, when one salmon did, and she caught it with her jaws, crushing down on it as hard as she could with her jaws made for eating plants. Silverglow also found a patch of beautiful white water lilies and took one to keep and a few others for dinner. She meandered around the woods a little more, until she decided to go back to her camp where Puck was, and brought the lilies and salmon with her.
Silverglow sat down next to Puck, and flinged the fat fish in front of him, then started devouring the lilies.
