Rimon heard there was a large weyr that was lacking what he felt was a very important item for every weyr: there was no male Guardian in residence. He reviewed their population carefully before approaching Wyldyrn. She and Shadymum then conducted a trade with HereBedragons. Many of Shadymum's brewed materials and 31 gems were offered and eagerly accepted for the old dragon. Rimon moved to a Shadow Weyr, changed his name to Blaze to accentuate his one gened color and took up residence. He will spend time here deciding what to do for his remaining genes - most likely stripes and spines as he feels his beautiful fire gene is his best feature and must not be overshadowed (yes, pun intended). He also found a beautiful accent in the weyr's hoard which no one else claimed, as it was designed to fit male Guardians.
Blaze looks forward to becoming a coli fighter. He spends his days in training and protecting the borders of Moonlit Nyyt Weyr. He can often be found near the eldest dragon in residence, Antiquity, catering to her needs and accompanying her on long walks and flights around the lands of Emberglo. The two have adopted each other as the one to guard.
Flicker is his familiar - she adores Blaze and is so happy to bond with the old dragon. He found the frog, the snake and the toad on one of his jaunts with Antiquity. He named them Arid, Slither and Mud.
