Is that a butterfly carrying a beer stein? Believe it or not, no, that is not a butterfly or a moth, but a little fae female with enough hospitality in her body to fill up a creature six times her size. Emberglow wasn't always a fae, however; originally, her arrival to the Clan had been an accident. Initially blown off course, Emberglow, then a skydancer, had been guided to safety during a summer squall by a small male courier fae. She had never heard of Scorched Rock Island prior to landing there, but she fell in love with the exotic locale and the young dragon who had braved the storms to bring her to safety.

Initially, her presence was unwelcomed owing to her heritage within the Scarred Wasteland; overtime, and with KnockOut's continuous support and affection, Emberglow began to make a name for herself as a trustworthy young dragon. Her weaving skills were superb, and they only increased in detail and delicacy when she made the change to fae. It wasn't a hard choice to make; though she loved her parents, she could not stand the landscape to which she had been born, and could not bear to be apart from KnockOut, even if the divide was only a difference in breed.

Obtaining a scroll from Lord Braxton, a mysteriously wealthy entrepreneur, on the deal that 15% of her profits made from weaving would go to him, Emberglow made the breed change. Wishing to provide Scorched Rock with a safe haven for those who have made the journey to the island and could do with the safety and compassion KnockOut had originally shown her, Emberglow and her mate have opened the Forgelight Inn. It caters to both the local population (it's a very popular spot nowadays, any ill-tidings for her plague history have long since been forgotten by most) and the occasional foreigner or tourist looking for a warm bed to sleep in and great food.

She is a loving, compassionate mother, and many of her offspring have gone off to search the Flamecaller, an honor of which she is especially proud. The desire to change one's breed, for whatever reason, seems like a trait that has passed on to her offspring. One young male bearing the name of Natsu, is now a ridgeback living with his Clan in the Sunbeam Ruins. Another, and from her most recent clutch, is Keahi, a fae daughter born with the heart and soul of a wildclaw.

Having spoken to the Clan's witch doctress, Angakkuq, it became clear that their daughter Keahi had a great untapped potential, and she was encouraged to make the change to Wildclaw. Given that this was not just an aesthetic change but potentially young Keahi's destiny, Angakkuq provided the Wildclaw Scroll herself rather than obtain it from Lord Braxton. Emberglow maintains a close relationship with her daughter, though there is a language barrier now that wasn't there before. Immensely proud, she has started a large collection of trinkets and crafting materials that Keahi has brought back to her from the coliseum where she spends most of her time.

Emberglow will happily show it off to anyone who might be interested.
