"So you can throw me to the wolves, Tomorrow I will come back, leader of the whole pack." ___________________________________________✧✧ Wrenn is one of the few outliers in an otherwise peaceful and diplomatic clan, with a hotheaded temper and a sharp wit to match. He has no interest in the scientific or theoretical, and finds the clan's fascination with the stars to be a bore. This disconnect between himself and the clan's purpose originally caused him to butt heads with the leader, Trott, fairly often early on. He attempted to cause a few upheavals of the clan's hierarchy, disrupted important research, and caused general chaos among his clanmates, yet Trott remained patient with him, simply stating that Wrenn's strengths must have use somewhere. He simply had to find them. Despite his apparent lack of respect for Trott, he owes a lot to the soft-spoken Tundra, who offered him a safe refuge and a clan to call home when he was at his lowest. Abandoned by his parents at a young age, Wrenn had spent much of his early life struggling to survive, hurting anyone and anything he had to in order to ensure his own survival. While he managed to survive for many years, he hardly thrived, and as winter's icy grip settled over the land one year, his body finally gave in. He collapsed in a sickly huddle of wings and claws and too-visible bones, in the middle of a heavy snowstorm that threatened to rapidly bury him as he lay motionless, too exhausted to rise. Darkness set in quickly, his aching body soothed by the cold snow that embraced him. However, when consciousness briefly returned to him sometime later, he had just enough strength to recognize that he lay sprawled across the back of another dragon, their large, partially furred wings spread to block the sting of the wind, the silhouette of a sheltered forest looming ahead. ----still writing However, with little to guard the clan from, Wrenn's days are generally filled with boredom that eventually drives him to find ways to entertain himself, usually at the expense of fellow clanmates. |
