It all started back in the Fire flight where I grew up in. I still remember the warm rock near the lava flow. It was dark, except for the slight orange glow from the lava. I lay alone, but from the corner of my eye, a figured appeared, either physically or an image in my head - it wasn't clear.
He spoke to me in a deep and hefty speech, "Greetings Ember. I am the alpha of the Guardians from the Fallen Night, NightFall."

I was about to call my mother and father, but the new comer's image seemed to calm myself.
"I have called you," he replied, "My clan mates are in trouble with a mysterious and powerful clan. They have shattered my clan." He continued, "I have seen you. Fate has set your path with loyalty and to reconstruct the broken clan that is now. I have reached the end of my leadership. It is time to hand my responsibility in a younger and lively hand."
Of course, I was surprised. Me, alpha queen?
He must have seen, or expected my reaction, since he replied, "Be brave and grow strong. You are the light that will bring my clan together."

With that, he faded away and left me in my warm nest, quietly with my thoughts.
